The Pride Backpacker Plus loads into the cargo area of most mini vans making it a great choice for those who drive a smaller van but are looking for an inside lift. A favorite feature of the Backpacker Plus is that it requires no installation and, once the 3rd row seating is removed, it easily mounts to the four latches of the seating hardware. There is no drilling or vehicle modification needed. The Backpacker Plus comes with a preassembled platform and an easy-to-use 2 button hand control making it a breeze. The wheel chocks, which keep the scooter or power chair in place, are also adjustable, allowing a secure fit for the specific power mobility unit being transported. The Backpacker Plus also offers a manual override just in case your van's battery goes dead. The Pride Backpacker Plus includes a wiring kit, but both multipurpose and standard battery packs are offered as an option for even greater freedom.
